Accounts and Finance

The Administration, HR & Supplies Department at ICOH manages the Centre’s human resources, administrative functions, and asset management. The department ensures efficient coordination of staff welfare, recruitment, training, and the maintenance of facilities and supplies, all essential to the Centre’s operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Protection: Ensure accurate recording of non-current assets.
• Management Reporting: Provide timely reports to support operations.
• Accounting Records: Maintain comprehensive financial records.
• Financial Statements: Prepare year-end financial statements and submit to the Accountant General of the Federation.
• Audit Support: Assist auditors with necessary documentation and address audit queries.
• Government Reporting: Submit periodic revenue and expenditure reports to the Federal Government.
• Cost Control: Implement controls to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Budget Management: Prepare, defend, and monitor annual budgets.
• Financial Advisory: Advise management on financial matters.
• Resource Management: Ensure judicious use of resources in compliance with regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough expense documentation for audits.
